1970 Mercury Cougar SOLD We can source other classics!
This rare 1970 Cougar is one of the most underrated cars of its' era. Basically an upscale Mustang, the body style is pure muscle car. This particular car has a rebuilt 351 Cleveland engine (5.8) with rebuilt FMX auto trans, and has recently had lots of money spent on new floors, new fuel tank, new interior, new carpets and new paint. The wheels and tyres are also new. Glass and chrome is all good apart from a flawed front bumper. This car needs nothing other than a caring owner. You don't see many other Cougars in the UK (We know of maybe 5 or 6 1970 cars). They are appreciating in value all the time as the classic Mustangs get more and more expensive to buy. This car is comes with 12 months MOT. This will definitely turn heads and will pull a crowd of admirers at any show. We also have a big pile of paperwork and bills going back to the mid 1990's and a set of photos of the restoration which was carried out in recent years.
