1976 Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am
£10,995

Now refinished in the original
"Goldenrod" yellow with new decals after being stripped back to
bare-metal.
The wheels are the later
"snowflake" style and these have been professionally refurbished
with new tyres.
The car was extremely original with
a nice interior, but unfortunately the paint had begun to micro-blister.
The body is in excellent condition considering
how prone to rust these can be. The usual rot spots around the rear window
and the bottoms of the doors are 100% rust-free. The few small areas
where rust was present have been repaired with new metal before being
prepped and painted.
Originally a 455 car, it
has had a more common 400 fitted at some time in its' past. The car
runs strong and although no longer "numbers matching" the 400
engine means that parts are cheaper and easier to obtain. The car
has loads of power and torque. It will still put you back in your
seat - not bad for a car that is now into it's fourth decade.
The interior is in good
original condition with an extremely rare rear console (as pictured).
(Sorry but I didn't have time to clean it all properly before I took the
photos).
This car is comes with 12 months
MOT, and a new clutch as well as new brakes and many other new items.
The cherished number "USA
759S" is included in the sale. Car can be sold without the
plate if required (deduct £500 from advertised price).
Why bother buying a rusty trans am
and spend years restoring it (not to mention the cost) when you can
have this one already done and on the road.
Call us if you are interested in
this car. The restoration will be photo-documented and we will
update the website with pictures as we get them.
