This car is quite a beast!  300bhp as standard and loads of torque, it lives up to the name "Cobra".  It will bite back if you don't resepect it!

The Cobra Mustangs were built in very limited numbers by Ford's SVT (Special Vehicle Technology) division.  Around 2000 were built each year.  The engines were hand-built in the USA using special parts sourced and manufactured in Italy and Germany.  They were only available with a manual gearbox, because the automatic wouldn't handle the higher power output of the dohc engine.

These cars must not be confused with the Mustang GT, there's a world of difference in the driving experience between them.
